Research Interests

Dr. Nilanjan Pal’s research interests involve the development of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and conformance improvement technology (CIT) processes for the petroleum industry. He has worked with fluidic systems including surfactants, nanoparticles, polymers, polymeric surfactants, “green” materials, microemulsions, nanoemulsions and foams. His area of expertise lies in the integration of laboratory testing and simulation studies, whilst designing a technical work-plan.
