Research Interests

Dr. Shu Jin's primary research interests focus on the development of wellbore-reservoir coupling models, semi-analytical models for unconventional well productivity prediction, data-driven reservoir proxy models, transient multiphase flow models in wellbores, and the application of optimization algorithms, including genetic and particle swarm algorithms, as well as intelligent control mechanisms such as PID control.
