Biography

Faris's current research focuses on CO₂ mineralization in natural zeolites for effective carbon sequestration. He investigates geochemical interactions that enhance CO₂ storage in reactive porous media, aiming to optimize long-term carbon capture. His work integrates numerical simulations with experimental studies to improve the efficiency and scalability of CO₂ mineralization processes.
