In August, a KAUST delegation, including Enoc Basilio, a Ph.D. candidate from the ARMS Group, participated in the International Youth Day Celebration in Riyadh. This event, hosted by the United Nations, focused on the theme of "Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable Future." The KAUST delegation took the opportunity to showcase the proactive role played by the youth within the KAUST community in driving sustainable initiatives.

 During the event, the delegation highlighted the various ongoing green projects and initiatives being undertaken at KAUST. The delegation emphasized how these initiatives are not only contributing to a more sustainable future but also empowering the youth to actively participate in shaping their communities.

 By participating in the International Youth Day Celebration, KAUST aimed to inspire and motivate other young individuals to take action towards sustainability. The delegation shared their experiences, lessons learned, and success stories, encouraging others to join the movement for a more sustainable future.
